Rube Goldberg

Rube Goldberg is a cartoonist known for his complicated gadgets that preformed simple tasks. These gadgets are known as a Rube Goldberg machine (Further explained in Rube Goldberg Machine page). He was born in San Fransisco, California on July 4th 1883 and got married to Irma Seeman. They had two sons: Thomas, and George. They both changed their surname. Goldberg graduated from U. Cal Berkley with a degree in engineering. His success started when he was hired for his first job at The San Fransisco Chronicle. He won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning, and the Reuben Award for outstanding cartoonist. Some of his cartoons are below.
